(House Bill 812)
AN ACT to authorize and direct the County Commissioners of
Wicomico County and the members of the General Assembly from
said County to appoint a Commission to study and revise the laws
concerning Sabbath Breaking found in Article 27, Sections 578
et seq. of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition and 1954
Supplement, and any subsequent amendments thereto,) as the same
pertain to Wicomico County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the County Commissioners of Wicomico County and the mem-
bers of the General Assembly from said County acting as a group, be
and they are hereby authorized and directed to appoint a Commission
to study and revise the laws concerning Sabbath Breaking, found in
Article 27, Sections 578 et seq. of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1951 Edition and 195b Supplement, and any subsequent amendments
thereto) as the same pertain to Wicomico County.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That such Commission shall be
composed of not more than twelve members to be appointed as fol-
lows: (1) at least two and not more than five ministers representing
different religious faiths, (2) AT LEAST one person who is a resident
of the City of Salisbury, (3) four persons, one from each section of
Wicomico County, namely, the north, east, south and west sections,
and (4) two persons who are lawyers in Wicomico County.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That such Commission shall
make a thorough study of the laws mentioned in Section 1, and shall
file a report with its recommendations for the revision of such laws
with the members of the General Assembly from Wicomico County
not later than February 1, 1956.
SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1,1955.

(House Bill 815)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, subsection (d)
of Section 47 of Article 25 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1951 Edition and 1954 Supplement), title "County Commission-
ers", sub-title "County Treasurers", relating to the salary and
expense allowance of the County Treasurer of St. Mary's County
and to the salary of the Deputy County Treasurer of said County.
