(House Bill 82)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 3 (a) of
Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1954 Supplement),
title "Elections," sub-title "Election Officials," increasing the
annual salary of the members of the Board of Supervisors of
Elections of Baltimore County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 3 (a) of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1954 Supplement), title "Elections," sub-title "Election Officials,"
be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:
3. Salaries and expenses of supervisors of elections.
(a) Salaries.—Each supervisor of elections appointed under § 1
(a) or § 1 (c) of this article shall receive an annual salary as fol-
lows: In Allegany County, $1,080; in Anne Arundel County, $800;
in Baltimore City, $3,190 until January 1, 1950, and thereafter
$5,000; in Baltimore County, [$1,800] $3,000; in Calvert County
$200; in Caroline County, $300; in Carroll County, $400; in Cecil
County, $300; in Charles County, $250; in Dorchester County, $400;
in Frederick County, $480; in Garrett County, $300; in Harford
County, $400; in Howard County, $400; in Kent County, $400; in
Montgomery County, $1,200; in Prince George's County, $1,000; in
Queen Anne's County, $300; in St. Mary's County, $250; in Somerset
County, $300; in Talbot County, $300; in Washington County, $600;
in Wicomico County, $600; in Worcester County, $300.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.

(House Bill 202)
AN ACT to add four new sections to the Anne Arundel County Code
(1947 Edition), being Article 2 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, title "Anne Arundel County", sub-title "Fire Com-
panies", said new sections to be known as Sections 332-I-332L,
inclusive, and to follow immediately after Section 332H of said
Article, as amended by Chapter 362 of the Acts of 1951, relating
to the levy of a special fire tax in the first precinct and the third
precinct of the Fifth Election District of Anne Arundel County.
