in Liber 598 at folio 153, thence along the west lines of said property
of George P. Kimmel in a northerly direction, reversely with and
along the thirty-third through the twenty-fourth lines of the afore-
said deed from Charles R. Rowdybush to George P. Kimmel to the
center of the road running between Mt. Zion and Brookeville, thence
in an easterly direction with the said center of said Mt. Zion-Brooke-
ville Road to the intersection of the center of said road with the six-
teenth line of the aforesaid deed from Rowdybush to Kimmel, thence
along the east lines of the property of said George P. Kimmel in a
southeasterly direction, reversely with and along the sixteenth
through the third and part of the second lines of the aforesaid deed
from Rowdybush to Kimmel to the beginning of the second line of
a deed from Russell W. Bryan, et ux, to George P. Kimmel, dated
August 19, 1948, and recorded among the aforesaid Land Records in
Liber 1243 at folio 208, thence in an easterly direction with and along
said second line of the aforesaid deed from Bryan to Kimmel to the
center of the Brookeville Turnpike (Georgia Avenue), thence in an
easterly direction to a point, east of, at right angles to, and 1,000 feet
distant from the east line of said, Brookeville Turnpike (Georgia
Avenue), thence in a southerly direction, each
EAST of, parallel to
and 1,000 feet distant from the east line of said Brookeville Turnpike
(Georgia Avenue) to intersect the boundary line of the present Wash-
ington Suburban Sanitary District, thence with the present boundary
of the Washington Suburban Sanitary District to the point of be-
ginning.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the said additional area
hereinabove described shall be taken as and treated as if the said
additional area was within the original boundaries of the Sanitary
District and is hereby brought within the jurisdiction of the Wash-
ington Suburban Sanitary Commission and shall for all of the pur-
poses set forth in said Chapter 122 of the Acts of 1918 and amend-
ments thereto be considered a part of the Washington Suburban Sani-
tary District except as hereinafter set forth.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That the said Washington
Suburban Sanitary Commission may whenever it deems it advisable
construct a water or sewerage system or systems in any of the added
area described above provided, however, that the Commission may
levy such benefit charges and/or may make such service rates and/or
service charges in relation to any water or sewerage system con-
structed in said area as it shall determine to be necessary and proper
for the construction or financing of water and sewerage systems or
for the operation and maintenance thereof without regard to the
charges or service rates made in any other area within the Sanitary
District.

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.
