be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:

602. The County Commissioners of Anne Arundel County are
hereby authorized and empowered to contract with the Mayor and
City Council of Baltimore City for said water supply, water mains
and extensions in order to supply said water system to the First
Precinct of the Fifth Election District of Anne Arundel County, in
parts of Hillcrest, Brooklyn Heights and vicinity [.] and to the
Third Election District of said County.

Provided any such contract between the said Mayor and City
Council of Baltimore City and the County Commissioners of Anne
Arundel County, shall be first submitted to the Public Service Com-
mission of the State of Maryland, who shall determine the proper
amount to be paid for such connection or connections as called for
by such contract, and the amount to be paid for the use of water as
called for by said agreement, and for the laying of water mains
and such other extensions as are necessary to carry out the object
of this bill; and provided further, before any contract be signed by
either the County Commissioners of Anne Arundel County or the
Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, the written approval of said
Public Service Commission shall first be obtained; and provided
further that said Public Service Commission shall have at all times
jurisdiction over said contract.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.

CHAPTER 447
(Senate Bill 433)

AN ACT to repeal Section 35 of Article 18 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland 1930 Edition), title "Queen Anne's
County", sub-title "Bridges", sub-heading "Kent Island Narrows
Bridge", repealing the transfer of the Kent Island Narrows Bridge
by the County Commissioners to the State Roads Commission.

WHEREAS, The bridge so transferred by this Section to the State
Roads Commission is no longer in existence, it is therefore desirable
to remove this section from the laws.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 35 of Article 18 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Queen Anne's County", sub-title
"Bridges", sub-heading "Kent Island Narrows Bridge", be and it is
hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.
