SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 40A be and it is hereby added to Article 26 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Courts", sub-
title "Circuit Courts for the Counties", said new section to follow
immediately after Section 40 thereof, and to read as follows:

40A. IN ADDITION TO THE foUR JUDGES FOR THE
THIRD JUDICIAL CIRCUIT FOR WHICH PROVISION IS MADE
BY SECTION 21 OF ARTICLE 4 OF THE CONSTITUTION OF
MARYLAND, THERE SHALL BE AN ADDITIONAL JUDGE
WHO SHALL BE RESIDENT OF BALTIMORE COUNTY. SAID
JUDGE SHALL BE SELECTED IN THE MANNER PROVIDED
BY SECTION 5 OF ARTICLE 4 OF THE CONSTITUTION OF
MARYLAND AND SHALL BE SUBJECT TO ALL OF THE PRO-
VISIONS OF THE CONSTITUTION AND LAWS RELATING TO
THE THIRD JUDICIAL CIRCUIT AND THE SEVERAL JUDGES
THEREOF.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act

SHALL TAKE EFFECT JUNE 1, 1955.

Edition), being Article 2 of the Code of Public Local Laws of

ing to the furnishing of water by Baltimore City to the Third
Election District of Anne Arundel County.
