It shall be unlawful to hunt wild water fowl at any time or in any
manner on either the land or the waters within the boundary lines
of the Blackwater Migratory Birds Refuge located in Dorchester
County [or to hunt wild water fowl on either land or water from a
blind or otherwise within 100 yards of the boundary lines of said
refuge].

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.

CHAPTER 440
(Senate Bill 341)

AN ACT to add a new section to the Charter and Public Local Laws
of Baltimore City (1949 Edition), being Article 4 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Baltimore City", sub-title
"People's Court", said new section to be known as Section 435A
and to follow immediately after Section 435 thereof, authorizing
the appointment of an additional Judge of the People's Court of
Baltimore City under certain conditions.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new section be and it is hereby added to the Charter and
Public Local Laws of Baltimore City (1949 Edition), being Article
4 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Baltimore
City", sub-title "People's Court", said new section to be known as
as Section 435A and to follow immediately after Section 435 thereof
and to read as follows:

435A. In addition to the Chief Judge and three Associate Judges
presently comprising the People's Court of Baltimore City, the
Governor, in pursuance of Section 41A of Article A of the Constitu-
tion of Maryland, is hereby authorized and empowered to appoint
another and additional Associate Judge of the said Court. Such
appointment, however, shall not be made unless and until there is
filed with the Governor or with the Secretary of State a certification
of the majority of the Judges of said Court of the necessity therefor.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.
