(House Bill 667)
AN ACT to add a new sub-section to Section 234 of Article 81 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Revenue and
Taxes'', sub-title "State Tax Commission", said new sub-section to
be known as Sub-section (h) and to follow immediately after Sub-
section (g) thereof, enabling the County Commissioners of Wash-
ington County to pay an additional sum to the Supervisor of As-
sessments for said County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new sub-section be and it is hereby added to Section 234 of
Article 81 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title
"Revenue and Taxes", sub-title "State Tax Commission", said new
sub-section to be known as Sub-section (h) and to follow immediately
after Sub-section (g) thereof, and to read as follows:
234.
(h) The County Commissioners of Washington County may levy
and pay, in their discretion, an additional sum of $200.00 to the
Supervisor of Assessments of said county (as a supplement to his
annual salary); provided, however, that the portion of said salary to
be paid by the State shall be limited to the amount prescribed in the
schedules hereinbefore set forth.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.

AN ACT to legalize the 1955 Edition of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Anne Arundel County, being Article 2 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, published under the direction of
the Board of County Commissioners of Anne Arundel County, and
making provisions for the publication, sale and distribution thereof.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the 1955 Edition of the Code of Public Local Laws of Anne
Arundel County, being Article 2 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, published under the direction of the Board of County Com-
missioners of Anne Arundel County, be and the same is hereby legal-
ized. Said Code shall contain all Public Local Laws relating to Anne
