and reasonable, and for which the by-laws of the said Board may
provide; provided, however, that the compensation and expenses of
said Board shall in no event be paid out of the funds in the State
Treasury or become a charge against the State.

179-S. In addition to the powers and duties given to the Board
in Sections 179-A to 179-R, inclusive, the Board shall also examine
into the qualifications and capabilities of all persons who are en-
gaged or desire to engage in the limited fields of electrical work
such as the installation, maintenance and repair of electrically oper-
ated heating equipment, electrically operated air-conditioning and
refrigeration equipment, electrically operated elevators, electrical
display signs or electrical household appliances. Persons found
properly qualified by the Board shall be issued Restricted Electrician
Licenses which shall be designated as such and shall contain the
names of the particular fields of electrical work in which the persons
are qualified. All matters handled by the Board in connection with
the issuance of Restricted Electrician Licenses shall be dealt with
in the same way and under the same rules and regulations and to
the same extent as the Board uses in the issuance of Master Electri-
cian Licenses.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.

CHAPTER 300
(Senate Bill 431)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 178 through 181 inclusive of Article 18
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition),
title "Queen Anne's County", sub-title "Circuit Court", sub-head-
ing "Clerk", repealing certain provisions as to the duties of the
clerk of the Circuit Court for Queen Anne's County.

WHEREAS, Duties of clerks of the various circuit courts are now
enumerated in the Annotated Code of General Laws, it is desirable
to repeal these sections.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 178 through 181 inclusive of Article 18 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Queen
Anne's County", sub-title "Circuit Court", sub-heading "Clerk",
be and they are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further encated, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.

Approved April 11, 1955.
