CHAPTER 301
(Senate Bill 434)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 25 through 32, inclusive, of Article 18
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition),
title "Queen Anne's County", sub-title "Auditing Committee", Sec-
tion 25 thereof having been amended by Chapter 238 of the Acts
of 1935, relating to a committee of persons to examine the books,
records and accounts of certain county and other agencies in
Queen Anne's County.

WHEREAS, It is desirable that these sections be repealed inasmuch
as the procedure specified therein is no longer followed, examina-
tion of accounts by an individual auditor now being the method in
actual use.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 25 through 32, inclusive, of Article 18 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Queen Anne's
County", sub-title "Auditing Committee", Section 25 thereof having
been amended by Chapter 238 of the Acts of 1935, be and they are
hereby repealed".

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.

AN ACT to repeal Section 183 of Article 18 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Queen Anne's
County", sub-title "County Commissioners", repealing the pro-
visions as to filling of vacancies in the County Commissioners of
Queen Anne's County.

WHEREAS, Procedure for the filling of vacancies in the County Com-
missioners of the various counties is now covered by the Annotated
Code of General Laws, it is desirable to repeal these sections; now
therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 183 of Article 18 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Queen Anne's County", sub-title
"County Commissioners", be and it is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.
