report their condition and the manner of conducting the same, to
the other commissioners. No commissioner shall furnish on his own
account, supplies of any description, for the use of the Almshouse,
upon penalty of forfeiting whatever he may so furnish.

73. The County Commissioners of Harford County be and they
are hereby authorized and empowered to sell all or any part or parts
of a tract of land situate in the Third Election District of Harford
County, known as the "Almshouse farm", and to give a good and
sufficient deed for said tract or any part or parts thereof so sold,
to the purchaser or purchasers thereof; and that the proceeds de-
rived from the sale thereof be paid to the Treasurer of Harford
County, to be used for such County purposes as the Commissioners
may decide.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.

CHAPTER 299
(Senate Bill 424)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 179-C of
Article 22 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Washington County", sub-title "Electrical Appara-
tus and Wiring", as said section was enacted by Chapter 328 of
the Acts of 1951 and to add a new section to said Article, said
new section to be known as Section 179-S and to follow immedi-
ately after Section 179-R thereof, relating to the issuance of
Restricted Electrician Licenses and the compensation of the Board
of Examiners and Supervisors in Washington County.

SECTION 1. Be it encated by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 179-C of Article 22 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Washington County", sub-title
"Electrical Apparatus and Wiring", as said section was enacted
by Chapter 328 of the Acts of 1951, be and it is hereby repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments, and that a new section be and it
is hereby added to said Article, said new section to be known as
Section 179-S, to follow immediately after Section 179-R thereof,
and all to read as follows:

179-C. Each member of said Board shall receive a compensation
of Ten Dollars ($10.00) per day subject to a maximum of [Fifty
Dollars ($50.00)] One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) per year for
actual service in attending meetings of the Board which compensa-
tion shall be paid out of any moneys in the hand of the Treasurer
of said Board; provided, that the Secretary of said Board may
receive such additional compensation as the Board may deem just
