have been altered, relocated or straightened, be sold by the Com-
missioners for such prices, at such times and on such terms as they
may deem advisable in the best interest of Baltimore County.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.

CHAPTER 141
(House Bill 420)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 29A, 100 (16) and 112A of Article 52 of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1954 Supplement), and to repeal
and re-enact, with amendments, Section 43A of said Supplement
ARTICLE, title "Justices of the Peace", sub-titles "Docket",
"Process and Practice" and "Trial Magistrates System"; (said
Section 100 (16) having been twice separately amended by Chapter
464 and Chapter 639 of the Acts of 1953), and to enact a new Sec-
tion 100 (16) in lieu thereof to stand in the place and stead of the
sub-section repealed, relating generally to the dockets, procedure,
clerks and the trial magistrates system of Prince George's County.

WHEREAS, Section 100 (Prince George's County) OF ARTICLE 52
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), was twice
separately amended by Chapter 464 and Chapter 639 of the Acts of
1953; and

WHEREAS, The two Acts were passed for substantially the same
purpose as will appear from their titles; and

WHEREAS, It is the intention of the Legislature that Chapter 639
of the Acts of 1953 should be the law, but due to the passage of these
two laws, there is now some confusion and conflict between the two
chapters; and,

WHEREAS, It is desirable to repeal both versions of Section 100 (16)
OF ARTICLE 52 of the said Code as amended by Chapter 464 and
Chapter 639 of the Acts of 1953 and to enact a new Section 100 (16)
in lieu thereof which will contain the language of Chapter 639 and
which will clarify the wording of the said section and eliminate the
existing confusion and conflict; and

WHEREAS, It is also thought desirable to make certain other changes
in said Article 52 of the Code as it relates to Prince George's County;
now therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 29A, 100 (16) and 112A of Article 52 of the Anno-
