(K-2). THE CLERK OF THE CIRCUIT COURT OF ANNE
ARUNDEL COUNTY SHALL BE ENTITLED TO RECEIVE AN
ANNUAL SALARY OF $7,500.
SEC. 2 3. And be it further enacted, That the increase in salary
herein provided for the clerk of the circuit court of Baltimore County
AND TO THE CLERK OF THE CIRCUIT COURT OF ANNE
ARUNDEL COUNTY shall not apply to the clerk of the court who
is in office at the time this law is enacted. The said increase shall be
effective only as to the clerk of court of Baltimore County AND AS
TO THE CLERK OF COURT OF ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY who
becomes such next after the time this law is enacted.
SEC. S 4. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.

(House Bill 93)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sub-section 2 of
Section 100 of Article 52 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1954 Supplement), title "Justices of the Peace," sub-title "Trial
Magistrates System/' transferring the magistrate's court from
Galesville to Edgewater in Anne Arundel County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sub-section 2 of Section 100 of Article 52 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1954 Supplement), title "Justices of the Peace,"
sub-title "Trial Magistrates System," be and it is hereby repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments, and to read as follows:
(2) Anne Arundel County.—There shall be five trial magistrates,
one of whom shall sit in Annapolis and receive an annual salary of
$3,000.00; one of whom shall sit in Ferndale and receive an annual
salary of $2,500.00; one of whom shall sit in the first precinct of the
third election district and receive an annual salary of $1,500.00; one
of whom shall sit in [Galesville] Edgewater and receive an annual
salary of $1,500.00; and one of whom shall sit in Odenton and receive
an annual salary of $1,500.00.
The trial magistrate at Annapolis shall sit on Mondays from 10:00
A. M. to 3 P. M. and from 7 P. M. to 9 P. M., Wednesdays from
11 A.M. to 12 noon; Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 10
A. M. to 4 P. M., and on Saturdays from 10 A. M. to 12 o'clock noon,
each day.
The trial magistrate at Ferndale shall sit on Mondays and Thurs-
days from 10 A. M. to 4 P.M., on Wednesdays from 11 A. M. to
