4 P. M., on Saturdays from 10 A. M. to 12 o'clock noon, and on
Tuesdays and Fridays from 7 P. M. to 9 P. M., each day.
The trial magistrate at [Galesville] Edgewater, Odenton, and in
the first precinct of the third election district shall sit on Mondays
and Fridays from 10 A. M. to 12 o'clock noon, on Tuesdays, Wednes-
days and Thursdays from 7 P. M. to 9 P. M., and on Saturdays
from 11 A. M. to 12 o'clock noon, each day.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.

CHAPTER 115
(House Bill 123)
An ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 3 of
Chapter 644 of the Acts of 1949, as last amended by Chapter 485 of
the Acts of 1953, said Act relating to the County Commissioners of
Baltimore County and authorizing and empowering said County
to borrow money to finance the construction, acquisition, improve-
ment or extension of certain public facilities as therein defined,
said amendments relating (a) to the borrowing of funds and the
issuance of bonds in amounts not in excess of eight per centum
(8%) of the assessed value of all real and personal property sub-
ject to assessment for unlimited taxation by said County in any
case, (b) to the borrowing of funds and the issuance of bonds
during the calendar years 1955 and 1956 in the amounts not in
excess of one-half of one per centum (1/2%) of the assessed value
of such property without submitting the question for approval to
the qualified voters of the County at referendum, (c) to the
borrowing of funds and the issuance of bonds for public school
purposes during the years 1955 and 1956, and (d) to the borrow-
ing of funds and the issuance of bonds after January 1, 1957 only
upon referendum.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 3 of Chapter 644 of the Acts of 1949, as said Section
was last amended by Chapter 485 of the Acts of 1953, be and it is
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
3. That in order to enable the County to finance the public facili-
ties defined in Section 1 of this Act, said County is hereby granted
the power and authority to borrow money and incur indebtedness
and to evidence said borrowing or indebtedness by the issuance of
its general obligation serial maturity bonds, upon the terms and
conditions hereinafter set forth. Any such bonds may be issued
pursuant to the authority of this Act and for the purposes herein-
