the said three months] preceding the time hereinbefore prescribed
for filing said accounts, he shall file an affidavit or affirmation to that
effect, at the time prescribed for filing said accounts.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.

CHAPTER 112

(House Bill 75)

AN ACT to add Section 452A to the Laws of Harford County (1942
Edition), being Article 13 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, title "Harford County," said new section to follow im-
mediately after Section 452 thereof and to be under the sub-title
"Schools," making general provision for the transportation of
children who attend certain schools in Harford County which do
not receive State aid.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 452A be and it is hereby added to the Laws of Harford
County (1942 Edition), being Article 13 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, title "Harford County," said new section to follow
immediately after Section 452 thereof and to be under the sub-title
"Schools," and to read as follows:

452A. All children who attend schools in Harford County which do
not receive State Aid, and who reside on or along or near to the
public highways of Harford County, on which there is now or here-
after operated a public school bus or conveyance provided by the
Board of Education of Harford County for transporting children to
and from the public schools of Harford County, shall be entitled to
transportation on the said busses or conveyances; the same shall be
provided for them by the said Board of Education of Harford County,
subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, from a point on the
said public highway nearest or most accessible to their respective
homes to a point on said public highway nearest or most accessible
to their respective schools, without changing the routes of said
busses or conveyances now or hereafter established by said Board of
Education of Harford County for transporting children to and from
the public schools; such transportation shall be provided by the
Board of Education as aforesaid, for all the children attending
schools described herein, upon the same terms and conditions as now
are or as may be hereafter established by the Board of Education of
Harford County for children attending public schools.
THE COUN-
TY COMMISSIONERS OF HARFORD COUNTY SHALL PRO-
VIDE SUFFICIENT FUNDS TO DEFRAY THE EXPENSE OF
CARRYING OUT THE PROVISIONS OF THIS ACT.
