Resolved, That the Legislative Council be requested to report the
results of its study and review to the members of the General Assem-
bly on or before the February Session, 1956.

(Senate Joint Resolution 22)
Senate Joint Resolution requesting the Board of Public Works to
make a site available for the construction of a new armory.
WHEREAS, The Military Department of the State is planning the
construction of a new armory in the Baltimore Metropolitan Area,
supplementary funds for this purpose being included in the State
Bond Construction Bill, introduced into the 1955 Session of the
General Assembly; and
WHEREAS, A very good site for this armory would be available on
the property occupied by Coppin State Teachers College in the City of
Baltimore, which could be utilized without expense to the State; and
WHEREAS, In the judgment of the members of the General Assem-
bly of Maryland a site for this new armory on the grounds of Coppin
State Teachers College should be turned over to the Military Depart-
ment; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the Board of
Public Works be and it is hereby requested to make available to the
Military Department of the State a site on the grounds of Coppin
State Teachers College in Baltimore City for the construction of the
new projected armory to be built in the Metropolitan Area of Balti-
more City.
