takes a sudden turn to the west; thence still with the middle of said
Creek, 0.4 miles to where said creek intersects the center line of the
County Road leading from Nutwell to Sudley; thence with the center
line of said County Road, 2.5 miles northerly to intersect the south
boundary of District No. 1; thence with the center line of the County
Road leading from Sudley to Owensville in a northwesterly direction,
0.2 miles to the old abandoned County Road leading from Sudley to
Mt. Zion, and now running through the farms of Robert Gross, Elinor
D. Hall, A. S. Seal, and, again Elinor D. Hall; thence with said
abandoned road, in a southwesterly direction, 1.3 miles to a point
where the center line of said road intersects the center line of Solo-
mons Island Road (Maryland Rout ROUTE 2); thence with the center
line of Solomons Island Road, in a northivesterly direction, 0.9 miles
to intersection of said road with the center line of the Drury Road,
(Maryland Route 4); thence with the center line of Route 4 in a south-
westerly direction, 3.15 miles to the center line of a County Road
passing east of Mount Calvary Church, thence with the same in a
northwesterly and westerly direction, 1.85 miles to where it intersects
the center line of the County Road leading through The Sands;
thence with the center line of the same in a northerly direction, 0.6
miles to a point at the intersection with the center line of the County
Road from St. Lukes Chapel to said road through The Sands; thence
across the country in a westerly direction, 0.5 miles to the middle of
the Patuxent River, and the Prince George's County line; thence with
the middle of the Patuxent River, in a general southerly direction, 8.6
miles to where the Mouth of Lyons Creek enters the Patuxent; thence
in a northeast and easterly direction with the middle of Lyons Creek
and Calvert County line, 4 miles to where the middle of said Creek
intersects the County Road leading from Jewell to McKendree; thence
with the Calvert County line, Due South, 2.8 miles to where said line
intersects the middle of Hall Creek; thence with Hall Creek in a south-
easterly direction, 0.95 miles; thence leaving the Creek and running IN
an easterly and Due East course with the Calvert County line 4 miles;
thence in a southeasterly direction, 0.75 miles to the shores of Chesa-
peake Bay; thence in an easterly direction and at right angles to the
County line between Talbot and Anne Arundel counties, 4.45 miles
to said Talbot County line; thence with the same, in a northerly
direction in the middle of the Chesapeake Bay, 2.8 miles to the place
of beginning.
SEC. 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, THAT NOTHING
IN THIS ACT SHALL BE CONSTRUED TO AFFECT THE
BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF ANNAPOLIS AS THE SAME
ARE SET FORTH IN CHAPTER 569 OF THE ACTS OF THE
GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF 1951 OR AS THE SAME ARE SET
FORTH FROM TIME TO TIME IN THE CHARTER OF THE
CITY OF ANNAPOLIS. PROVIDED, FURTHER, THAT NOTH-
ING HEREIN SHALL BE CONSTRUED TO AFFECT THE RIGHT
OF ANY PERSON, FIRM OR CORPORATION TO CONTINUE
TO HOLD A LICENSE OR PERMIT WHICH WAS HELD ON
JUNE 1, 1955, AND THE HOLDING OF WHICH IS BASED IN
ANY MANNER UPON THE BOUNDARIES OF THE ELECTION
DISTRICTS OF ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, AND REPEALING
ALL LAWS INCONSISTENT WITH THIS LATTER PROVISION
TO THE EXTENT OF SUCH INCONSISTENCY.
