incorrect cross reference in the section of the law relating to
the registration of certain licensed practical nurses without
examination.
Whereas, In the law relating to the registration of certain licensed
practical nurses without examination there is an incorrect cross
reference to Section 304 of Article 43 of the Code; and
Whereas, This reference should have been to Section 303; and
Whereas, Since the incorrect reference was made in Chapter 89
of 1955 which enacted this Section it will require legislative action
for its correction; now, therefore,
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 305 of Article 43 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957 Edition), title "Health", sub-title "Licensed Practical Nurses",
be and is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:
305. Registration without examination.
Said Board of Examiners shall have the power, in the exercise of
its sound discretion, to issue a certificate of registration, without
examination, to any applicant who has been duly registered as a
licensed practical nurse under the laws of another state, provided said
Board of Examiners shall determine that such applicant possesses
qualifications which are the equivalent to those required under Sec.
[304] 303; and provided further that such applicant shall file a
written application for registration and pay the registration fee pro-
vided for by Sec. 302.
Sec 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1958.

(Senate Bill 35)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 130 (a)
(1) of Article 23 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957
Edition), title "Corporations", sub-title "Recording and Filing with
the State Tax Commission", correcting an inadvertent omission in
the laws concerning recording, filing and other fees of corpora-
tions, the omission having occurred when this section was last
amended by Chapter 573 of the Acts of 1957.
Whereas, Section 130 (a) (1) of Article 23 of the Code was last
amended by Chapter 573 of the Acts of 1957, at which time there
