Bridge, and also a branch of said road leading to the
upper end of William Franklin's plantation, shall be,
and the same is hereby confirmed as a public road,
as it now runs, twenty feet in width, and shall be con-
sidered a public road, and kept up as such, in the
same manner that other public roads are kept in said

liams and Belitha Griffin* be, and they are hereby per-
mitted to turn said road agreeably to an order ob-
tained by them from Worcester county court for that
purpose: Provided, The said court shall receive and
confirm their return of the same.

3. AND BE IT ENACTED, That the said coun-
ty court are hereby empowered to confirm or reject
the return of said John I. Williams and Belitha Grif-
fin, in the same manner that the said court could or
might do, had the same been a public road at the time
of granting the said order.

An act to correct a mistake in a Deed therein men-
tioned.

5, 1812.

WHEREAS, It is represented to this General As-
sembly, that Conrad Kerlinger, senr. late of Balti-
more county, deceased, did execute and acknowledge
a deed of conveyance to Conrad Kerlinger, junr. for
two hundred acres of land, being parts of two tracts
of land called Mattagin and Stoney Point, lying and
being in the county aforesaid; in which deed it ap-
pears there was a mistake made in omitting to insert
the second line of the said land, and in stating that
the third line of the said land, ran south sixty-two de-
grees east, instead of south fifty-two degrees east;
and it appearing reasonable that the mistake in the
said deed should be corrected; Therefore,

Preamble.

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That for the purpose of correcting the
said mistake, the following shall be the lines of the
parts of the two tracts of land called Matt agin and
Stoney Point, and conveyed by Conrad Kerlinger,
senr. deceased, to Conrad Kerlinger, junr. by deed
bearing date the twenty-seventh day of November,
seventeen hundred and ninety-seven, to wit: Begin-
