1812.

this act, to deliver to such person or persons chargea-
ble with the same, at least thirty days previous to
levying such execution or distress, an account writ-
ten in words at full length, of the public dues de-
manded of him, her or them, with an affidavit an-
nexed if required, that he hath not received any part
thereof, nor any thing as security or satisfaction for
the same, more than credit given to the best of his
knowledge.

3. AND BE IT ENACTED, That the said

Robert Welch, (of Ben. ) before he derives any ben-
efit from or under this act, shall lodge a copy of his
collection books in the clerks office of Anne-Arundel
county, to be opened for the inspection of all persons
interested in the same.

CHAPTER 184.

1, 1813.

An act for the removal of certain proceeding against
General Henry Lee of the city of Alexandria,
from the county court of Baltimore county, to the
county court of Montgomery county, and for
other purposes.

Preamble.

WHEREAS, It hath been represented to this
General Assembly of Maryland, by the said Henry
Lee, and by Luthur Martin Esqr. of Baltimore
county, that he the said Luthur Martin, heretofore
became special bail for the said Henry Lee, who
had been arrested in Baltimore county at the suit of
Robert Gamble Esqr. of the State of Virginia, in
two actions brought against the said Henry Lee, for
the use of Henry Thompson of Baltimore county, upon
which, judgments have been rendered against the
said Henry Lee, for a considerable sum of money;
and that the said Gamble having departed this life,
the said Henry Thompson duly obtained letters of
administration on his personal estate, and hath since
renewed the said judgments by scire facias against
the said Henry Lee, in consequence of which the
said Henry Lee is liable to have his person taken in
execution and committed to the jail of the said coun-
ty, or in default thereof, the said Luthur Martin as his
special bail, to be made answerable for the said judg-
ments.
AND WHEREAS, The said Henry Lee and
Luthur Martin have, by their petition, prayed this
General Assembly of Maryland to pass an act au-
thorising all further proceedings on the said judg-
