ments to be had in some other county court of this
State than that of Baltimore county; which prayer
this General Assembly considers proper to be granted:

1812.

Therefore,

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the clerk of the court of Baltimore
county, be, and he is hereby authorised and directed,
at the request of the said Henry Lee or Luthur Mar-
tin, or either of them, to transmit to the clerk of
Montgomery county, a transcript of the records and
proceedings in the said actions and judgments, and
of all process issued thereon by him, there to be filed
among the records, and placed on the docket of the
said court; and that thereupon the said Henry
Thompson shall have a right to issue out of the said
court of Montgomery county, any writ or writs of
execution upon the said judgments, and to have
further proceedings theron against the said Henry
Lee, and against the said Luthur Martin, in the same
manner as if the said actions had been originally
brought in the said court, and the judgments aforesaid
had been there obtained; and also that the said Henry
Lee shall have the same right to appear in the said court,
and surrender himself in discharge of his said bail;
and the said Luthur Martin shall have the same right
to appear in the said court to surrender the said
Henry Lee, in discharge of himself the said Luthur
Martin, as if the said suits had been originally
brought in the said court, and the said judgments
originally there obtained; and the said court shall
have a right on such surrender or surrenders so
made, to commit the said Henry Lee in execution, or
to discharge him in the same manner as if the said
judgments had been originally rendered in and by

the same court: Provided, That it shall be made
appear satisfactorily to the said court, that the said
Henry Thompson shall have had previously thirty
days notice given to him or his attorney at law, of
the time when such surrender is intended to be made
in the said court, in discharge of the said bail by the
said Henry Lee, or the said Luthur Martin; and the
clerk of the said court is directed to make and keep
regular entries of all such proceedings as shall take
place in the said court of Montgomery county, after
the said transcript is so as aforesaid transmitted to
him.
