hereby appointed commissioners, to view, lay out,
mark and bound the said road, as nearly with the
road now used as may be practicable, and cause the
same to be cleared, not more than thirty feet, nor less
than twenty feet wide, and shall return a plot thereof
under their hands and seals to the clerk of Queen
Ann's county court, to be recorded by him, and the
said road shall thereafter be kept in repair as other
public roads in said county are.

Vacancies.

2. AND BE IT ENACTED, That if any of
the said commissioners die, resign or refuse to act,
the remaining commissioners are hereby authorised
and empowered to appoint another commissioner to
act in his place.

CHAPTER 162.
An act for the relief of Elizabeth Peters, of Prince
George's county.
|

A sum may be
levied for her
support.
|
BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the levy court of Prince George's
county shall be, and they are hereby directed and
empowered, at their levy court annually, so long as
they shall see cause, to assess and levy on the asses-
sable property of said county, a sum of money not
exceeding thirty dollars, for the support and mainte-
nance of the said Elizabeth Peters, and that the same
be collected annually by the collector of Prince
George's county, and paid to the said Elizabeth Pe-
ters or her order.

A supplement to an act passed at November session
seventeen hundred and ninety six, entitled, An act
respecting the roads in Somerset and Worcester
counties.

Neglect of du-
ty — process.
|
SEC. 1. BE IT ENACTED by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That whenever any justice of the
peace of Worcester county, shall, in pursuance of
the act-to which this is a supplement, give judgment
against any overseer or other person, for neglect of
duty, and the same not be immediately paid, the said
justice may thereupon issue process of execution for
the recovery of. the same, directed to the sheriff or
any constable of the county, who shall proceed to
levy, collect, and pay the same as is required by the
act to which this is a supplement.
