tribution by the administrator, to full indemnity, out
of the personal estate.

6. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That
the said trustees or any two of them, shall be at liber-
ty on behalf of Thomas and John Carroll, minor
heirs of the said deceased, to unite with the other
heirs who are of full age, in an agreement with Mar-
garet Carroll of Baltimore county, relect of Charles
Carroll, to pay her an. annuity during her life, in lieu
of her thirds or dower right, in certain of the real
estate of the said deceased, and in case such an
agreement can be effected, the said trustees are here-
by authorised to invest the residue or such part as
may be necessary of said sales, to raise said annuity,
in the stock of some bank in Baltimore, or other
funds that may be agreed on, and permit the said
Margaret Carroll to draw the interest thereof during
her life, and after her death they shall divide said
stock equally amongst the heirs at law of the said
Nicholas Carroll, and if said agreement shall not be
made as contemplated with the said Margaret Car-
roll, then the said trustees shall make distribution of
the said proceeds amongst the heirs aforesaid.

7. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That
the chancellor be, and he is hereby authorised and
empowered, in case the said trustees or any two of
them shall hereafter decline the trust hereby reposed
in them, to appoint one or more trustees in their
place and stead, who shall have the same powers as
are invested in the trustees before named; which new
trustees shall give bond in the same manner, and in
the same penalty as that herein before mentioned and
prescribed.

An act to make public a road in Queen Ann's county.
WHEREAS, It is represented to this General
Assembly, by the petition of sundry inhabitants
of Queen Ann's county, that they experience great
inconvenience for the want of a confirmation of a
public road leading from J. B. and intersecting the
main road leading from Church Hill to Chester-
Town, at the smith-shop of William Coleman, and
have prayed a law may pass confirming the said
road: Therefore,
