CHAPTER 14.
An act to prevent the erection of Booths, within

SEC. 1. BE IT ENACTED by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That whosoever from and after
the passage of this act, shall erect a booth for the
purpose of selling, or shall sell or dispose of any spi-
rituous liquor within two miles of any Methodist
Camp or Quarterly Meeting, in Frederick county,
during the Camp or Quarterly Meeting of the said
Methodist Society, shall forfeit and pay the sum of
twenty dollars, current money of this State, one half
thereof to be applied to the use of the county, the
other half to him or them who shall sue for the same,
to be recovered in like manner as other fines and
forfeitures.

2. AND BE IT ENACTED, That nothing in
this act shall be construed to hinder any ordinary
keeper or licensed retailer from selling liquors and
other things in their respective dwelling-houses or
stores.

CHAPTER 15.

19, 1812.

An act for the relief of Aquila Beall, of Prince
George's county.

Preamble.

WHEREAS Aquila Beall, late of George-Town,
has stated to this General Assembly, that heretofore
he was engaged in the mercantile business in George-
Town, in partnership with a certain William Steuart,
that in the year eighteen hundred and four, the said
partnership was dissolved by mutual consent, that
the said dissolution was a matter of notoriety among
the creditors of the said Steuart and Beall, but the
said Steuart having neglected to insert the notice of
the said dissolution as agreed between them; and the
said Beall being desirous of availing himself of an
opportunity to employ himself more beneficially, re-
moved to Prince George's county, and praying relief
in the premises; Therefore,

may grant the
benefits of the

insolvent laws.

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Prince George's county court
is hereby authorised and directed to extend and
afford to the said Aquila Beall, the full benefit of the
act of Assembly, passed at November session eigh-
teen hundred and five, entitled, An act for the re-
lief of sundry insolvent debtors, and the several
