2. AND BE IT ENACTED, That before the
commissioners aforesaid shall proceed to act as such,
the said bond shall be lodged in the office of the clerk
of Frederick county, to be there recorded, and upon
such bond or any office copy thereof, suit or suits may
be instituted for any breach or non-compliance with
the condition thereof.

CHAPTER 196.

An act to correct a mistake in the record therein men-
tioned.

Preamble.

WHEREAS, It is represented to this General As-
sembly, that the clerk of Baltimore county court did
make a mistake in recording a deed given by Sam-
uel Shiply to Cornelius Howard, and dated the fifth
day of November one thousand seven hundred and
fifty-three, by inserting the first course thereof north
seventy-two degrees west, instead of north twenty-
two degrees west; which said deed is enrolled among
the land records of Baltimore county court, in Liber
B. B. No. 1, folio 91, 92, 93 and 94; and it appear-
ing reasonable that the said mistake should be cor-

rected. Therefore,

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the first course in the said record of
the said deed shall be taken, considered and reputed
to be north twenty two degrees west, instead of north
seventy two degrees west, as inserted in the said re-
cord, any thing in any law to the contrary notwith
standing.

CHAPTER 127.

A supplement to the act entitled, An act to lay out a
road from William Sinkclair's plantation to Vaugh-
an's mine run and Gun-powder mills, and from
thence to the Owl branch.

SEC. 1. BE IT ENACTED by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That the commissioners named
in the act to which this is a supplement, or a majo-
rity of them be, and they are authorised and required
to lay out and open upon the terms and conditions in
the original act mentioned, and in the straightest
practicable direction, a road thirty feet in width, from
the Mine run and Gun-powder mills., formerly Vaugh-
