by the said Thomas Wheeler, of the commis-
sioners appointed by Harford county court, to make
sale of the same, was by an order of said court sold
by commissioners appointed to sell the real estate of
Thomas Wheeler deceased, to a certain Benjamin
Rigdon, and have prayed that this General Assem-
bly would pass a law authorising the commissioners
so as aforesaid appointed, to sell the real estate of Ben-
jamin Wheeler deceased, to make a deed for the ninety-
six acres to the devisees of Barnett Johnson deceased,
who have the equitable interest therein; and also
have prayed that a law may pass confirming the sale
of the land made to Benjamin Rigdon, by the com-
missioners appointed to sell the real estate of Tho-
mas Wheeler deceased, and that the commissioners
on Benjamin Wheeler's estate may be authorised to
execute a deed to the said Benjamin Rigdon; and
the prayer of the petitioners appearing reasonable:

SEC. 1. BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the commissioners, or the survivors
or survivor of them appointed by Harford county
court, at March term eighteen hundred and two, to
make sale of the real estate of Benjamin Wheeler
late of Harford county deceased, be, and they are
hereby authorised and directed to execute a deed to
John, James, William and Ann Elizabeth Johnson,
(heirs and devisees, of Barnett Johnson late of Har-
ford county deceased) for all that tract or parcel of
land purchased of them, the said commissioners, by
Thomas Wheller late of Harford county deceased,
and afterwards sold by the said Thomas Wheeler to
a certain Samuel For wood, and particularly men-
tioned and described in a deed from John Forwood
to Barnett. Johnson, bearing date on the thirteenth
day of March in the year eighteen hundred and ele-
ven, and recorded among the land records of Har-
ford county court; and that the said deed shall have
the same force validity and operation to convey an
estate in fee simple to the said John, James, William
and Aon Elizabeth Johnson, heirs and devisees of
the aforesaid Barnett Johnson deceased, as if the
said John, James, William and Ann Elizabeth had
been the original purchasers of the same from the
commissioners aforesaid.
