him at the time of his application for the benefit of
this act, and to extend and to afford to the said Abra-
ham Brown, all the benefits, advantages and provi-
sions of the aforesaid act and the supplements there-
to, in the same manner, and upon the same terms
and conditions, as if he had obtained the assent of
two thirds of his creditors to his release under the
same.

An act for the benefit of John, James, William and
Ann Elizabeth Johnson, heirs and devisees of Bar-
nett Johnson, and of Benjamin Rigdon, of Har-
ford county.

WHEREAS, It is represented to this General
Assembly by the petition of Benjamin Quinlan, and
Anna Maria Quinlan, administrators of Thomas
Wheeler, late of Harford county, deceased, that the
laid Thomas Wheeler in his life time, to wit, on the
seventh day of March in the year eighteen hundred and
three, purchased one hundred and ninety-six acres of
land, being part of the real estate of a certain Ben-
jamin Wheeler, deceased, sold, by commissioners ap-
apointed by Harford county court for that purpose,
ninety-six acres of which land the said Thomas Whee-
ler afterwards, that is to say, on the sixteenth day of
March in the year eighteen hundred and three, sold
to a certain Samuel Forwood, and gave his bond to
the said Forwood for the conveyance of the same;
that the said Thomas Wheeler is since dead without
having received a conveyance from the commission-
ers for the said land so as aforesaid purchased by
him: And whereas, It is further represented by the
petition aforesaid, that the said Samuel Forwood, by
his last will and testament duly executed and re-
corded agreeably to law, did devise the said ninety-
six acres of land so as aforesaid purchased from the
said Thomas Wheeler to his grandson John For-
wood, who sold the same to a certain Barnett John-
son, and executed to him a deed for the same, (which
deed now remains on record in Harford county
court, ) which said Barnett Johnson is since dead,
having first devised the said ninety. six acres of land
to his four children, to wit: John, James, William
and Ann Elizabeth Johnson: And whereas, It is fur-
ther represented by the petition aforesaid, that the re-
maining part of the land so as aforesaid purchased
