in first election district of said county.

39. An act to authorise the circuit judge for Anne Arundel
county, in ascertain whether Elizabeth Earnshaw, a prisoner in
the jail of said county, is insane, and to discharge her from impris-
onment, if he shall think her of sane mind.

40. An act to authorise the changing of the course of Mattawo-
man Run, at and near the point at which the stage road from Port
Tobacco to Glymont crosses said Run, and to authorise the build-
ing of a bridge over said Run.

41. An act to make valid a bill of sale from a certain James

Davis, administrator of Tilghman Davis, of Caroline county, de-
ceased, to a certain John L. Willis, of Dorchester county.

of wills and other papers of which the originals were lost by the
burning of the court house in Dorchester county, and to remedy
as far as practicable the evils likely to arise from the destruction of
the records of said county.

47. An act to fix the per diem of judges of the orphans' court
and county commissioners of Calvert county.
