SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That the board of man-
agers shall meet at such times and places as the board
or the society at its annual meetings shall prescribe,
shall regulate the terms of admission, and the rights and
privileges of members, life members, life directors and
patrons, shall have the sole management and control of
the affairs and concerns of the said corporation, subject
to such restrictions and regulations as may be prescribed
by the society at its annual meetings, shall have
power to fill any vacancies occurring in their own
body, to pass such by-laws, rules and regulations

SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That until an annual
meeting of the said society shall be held, the following
persons shall be the officers of the said society, viz :
Beverly Waugh, president, John Bear, first vice pre-
sident, N. J. B. Morgan, second vice president, Ster-
ling Thomas, third vice president, and Robert G. Arm-
strong, fourth vice president, Isaac P. Cook, treasurer,
and Benjamin N. Brown, secretary, executive commit-
tee, B. H. Nardal, George C. M. Roberts, J. McKen-
dre Reiley, George Merryman, E. R. Veitch, Lewis
Audoun, William Hamilton, Martin W. Mettee, John
A. Gere, Edward C. Thomas, Richard Brown, Clarke
Cottrell, Philip D. Lipscomb, William George Baker,
Thomas H. Busey, William Ortwine, John Poisal,
Lewis Perry, Elisha D. Owen, S. D. Foy, Benjamin
