CHAPTER 285.
|

AN ACT to allow Benjamin Berry, of Bladensburg,
Prince George's county, to close a street or alley in
said village.
|

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Benjamin Berry, of Bladensburg,
Prince George's county, be, and he is hereby autho-
rised to close the street or alley in said village, tunning
between the lot purchased by him of the said county,
known as the warehouse lot, and the lot now owned
by Dr. Archibald Magruder; Provided, the same be
closed at his own cost.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from its passage.

AN ACT to authorise the exchange of part of the pub-
lic lot, in the town of Elkton, for a part of the adjoin-
ing lot.

WHEREAS, by a certain indenture, bearing date on the
first day of September, one thousand, seven hundred
and eighty-three, Clement Holliday and Nathaniel
Ramsay, Esquires, as commissioners of confiscated
properly on the part and behalf of the State of Mary-
land, did grant and convey to certain persons in said
indenture named, their heirs and assigns, a certain
lot of ground, lying and being in Elktown, now
called Elkton, in Cecil county, to be held by them
