CHAPTER 270.

AN ACT to regulate the compensation of the State's
Attorney of Frederick county, in criminal cases re-
moved to said county for trial.
SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That in all criminal cases which may
hereafter be removed from any circuit court in the cir-
cuit court for Frederick county and tried, it shall and
may be lawful for the county commissioners for Fred-
trick county to allow to the State's Attorney for Fred-
erick county, in addition to the sum now allowed by law,
such compensation not to exceed the sum of thirty dol-
lars for any one case as said county commissioners for
Frederick county may deem just and proper, to be
levied by the county commissioners of the county from
which such removal shall have been made at their next
annual levy thereafter.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from and after the date of its passage.

AN ACT in relation to the Academy Fund for Carroll
county.
|
|
|
Authority to
pay.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the treasurer, on the warrant of
the comptroller, is hereby required to pay to the school
commissioners of Carroll county the several sums now
due, or that hereafter may become due, to said county
from the academy fund.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.
