CHAPTER 243.
|

AN ACT to repeal the thirty-third section of an act,
passed at November session seventeen hundred and
eighty-two, chapter seventeen, entitled an act for the
more effectual paving the streets of Baltimore town,
in Baltimore county, and for other purposes, and the
supplement thereto passed at November session eigh-
teen hundred and seven, chapter one hundred and
sixteen.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the thirty-third section of the act,
passed at November session seventeen hundred and
eighty-two, chapter seventeen, entitled an act for the
more effectual paving the streets of Baltimore town,
in Baltimore county, and for other purposes, and the
supplement thereto, passed at November session eigh-
teen hundred and seven, chapter one hundred and six-
teen, be, and the same arc hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the passage thereof.

on John Smith, David Fontz and John Roberts, com-
missioners for constructing a road in Carroll county.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That John Smith, David Fontz and .
John Roberts and their successors shall be, and they
are hereby authorised and empowered to carry into
effect that part of the act entitled, a supplement to an
act entitled an act to authorise a lottery to raise a sum
of money to make a turnpike road from the town of
