AN ACT appropriating a sum of money due Robert N.
Milburn.
|

Authority to
pay.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Treasurer is hereby authorised,
on the warrant of the Comptroller, to pay to Robert N.
Milburn, or his order, seven hundred and twenty-nine
dollars and eighty-nine cents, which amount paid by
him to the State on account of a judgment against A.
Milburn and others, recovered by the State, and sub-
sequently reversed by the Court of Appeals.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from its passage.

AN ACT remitting interest on State taxes due from
the estate of Milton Welch, former collector of How-
ard District.
|
|
|
|
Acts repealed.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the balance of the interest due from
the estate of Milton Welch, former collector of taxes in
Howard District, be, and the same is hereby remitted,
the principal debt, and part of the interest having been
paid.

|

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from its passage.
