schools in said county, at their regular meeting in the
months of June and December in each year and the
said sum when received by said trustees to be applied
to the necessary repairs of said Academy House and lot
and such other uses as may in the judgment of said true
tees best promote the interest of said institution.

|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said trustees
shall in consideration of said appropriation consent to
receive into said academy for instruction one pupil from
each of the several election districts of said county, free
of charge for tuition upon application of such pupil,
his or her parent or guardian, and if said pupil shall
at any time withdraw or be dismissed from said acade-
my, then said trustees shall upon application receive
another upon like terms from the district in which he
or she, so leaving may reside, and so from time to time
so long as they shall receive the sum appropriated by
this act.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the securities of Robert Wright,
former collector for the first collection district of Prince
George's county, be, and they are hereby released from
the payment of interest on the State's claims against

leased.

them; Provided, that the amount due for principal
on the judgments now standing against them in the
circuit court of Prince George's county, with the costs,
shall be paid as follows: one-third thereof on or be-
fore the first day of November next; one-third on or
before the first day of April eighteen hundred and fifty-
