CHAPTER 15.

AN ACT to amend the act passed at December session,
eighteen hundred and forty-two, chapter fifty-two,

entitled, an act to incorporate the Union Hall Com-
pany of Fell's Point, so as to allow an increase of the
capital stock to an aggregate amount not exceeding
ten thousand dollars.

Feb. 10, 1854.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the third section of the act passed
at December session, eighteen hundred and forty-two,
chapter fifty-two, entitled, an act to incorporate the
Union Hall Company of Fell's Point, be, and the
same is hereby amended, so as to authorise said corpo-
ration to increase its capital stock to an amount not ex-
ceeding ten thousand dollars, to be divided into shares
of five dollars each.

Amended.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 16.

In force.

AN ACT to carry into effect the twentieth section of
the third article of the Constitution, relative to pub-
lishing with the laws, the receipts and expenditures of
the public money.

Feb. 10. 1854.

WHEREAS, It is required by the twentieth section of
the third article of the Constitution, that on accurate
statement of the receipts and expenditures of the
public money shall be attached to, and published
with the laws after each regular session of the General
Assembly; Therefore,

Preamble.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That it shall be the duty of the Comp-

troller of the Treasury, after each regular session of the
General Assembly, to furnish the printer of the laws
with an accurate statement of the receipts and expendi-
tures of the public money for the preceding fiscal year,
and it shall be the duty of the said printer to attach said
