Authority to
hold proper-
ty, &c.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the newly elected vestry of
Emanuel Parish is hereby authorised to take and hold
all the property, real and personal heretofore held by
the old vestry of the congregation, and that the old
vestry is hereby authorised to convey by deed all such
property to the new vestry.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from and after its passage.

AN ACT for the relief of John Wise and Moses Collet,
of Baltimore county.
|
|
|
Released.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That John Wise and Moses Collet be,
they and shall be hereby released from the payment of
the interest and costs of suit and other process on a judg-
ment obtained by the State of Maryland, for the use of
the commissioners of Baltimore county, at the Novem-
ber term of the Baltimore county court, in the year
eighteen hundred and fifty, against them as sureties on

Provisoes.
|
Sellman Cox's tax collector's bond; Provided, the said
John Wise and Moses Collet, shall pay the principal of
said judgment on or before the first day of November,
eighteen hundred and fifty-four; Provided, the county
commissioners shall assent to the provisions of this act,
and file such assent in writing in the case aforesaid.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.
