LAWS OF MARYLAND.

Official acts
deemed valid.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the service and execution of all
writs and process and all other official acts done and
performed by the said Caspar Mantz, as Sheriff of
Frederick county, or by any of his acting deputies,
subsequent to the first day of January, eighteen hun-
dred and fifty three, shall be deemed and taken, and
the some are hereby declared to be as valid and effectu-
al to all intents and purposes, as if the said Caspar
Mantz, had within the time prescribed by law, duly
executed an official bond for the second year of the
term for which he was elected Sheriff of Frederick
county.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from and after its passage.

CHAPTER 11.

Passed
Feb. 10, 1854.

AN ACT to permit Henry M. Fitzhugh, administrator
debonus non with the will annexed of William Fitz-
hugh, to withdraw from the archives of the State all
original papers connected with the claim of the said
William Fitzhugh for compensation for losses sustained
in the Revolutionary War, which were filed by the
said William Fitzhugh.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Henry M. Fitzhugh, administra-
tor de bonus non with the will annexed of William
Fitzhugh, be, and he is hereby authorised to with-
draw from the archives of the State wherever the same
may be found, all papers and documents connected
with the claim of the said William Fitzhugh for com-
pensation for losses sustained from depredations of the
British in the war of the revolution, which were filed
by the said William Fitzhugh.

In force.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall go
into effect from the day of its passage.
