three, chapter two hundred and thirty-seven, entitled
an act to repeal the charter of the Washington and
Rockville Turnpike company, passed December session
eighteen hundred and seventeen, chapter ninety-seven,
as provides that the assent of said company be filed
with the clerk of the circuit court of Montgomery coun-
ty, on or before the first day of July eighteen hundred
and fifty-three, be, and the same is hereby repealed; and

the time in which the assent of said company shall be
filed with the said clerk, be, and the same is hereby ex-
tended to the first day of November eighteen hundred
and fifty-four.

CHAPTER 158.

Time extend-
ed.

AN ACT to authorise the Trustee of Ebenezer Meeting
House, and Rezin T. Jenkins and Levi Z. Condon to
sell and convey said house and the lot of land thereto
belonging, and to appropriate the proceeds of said
sale, to the erection of a new house of worship for
the use of the Methodist Episcopal Church in the
same neighborhood.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Reuben Conoway, Samuel Evans,
and Samuel Lindsay, trustees of Ebenezer Meeting
House, in Carroll county, and Rezin T. Jenkins and
Levi Z. Condon, of said county, or any three of them,
are hereby authorised, directed and empowered to sell
all that lot of land, and the improvements thereon,
situated in said county, which was conveyed by Philip
Tener, to Zadock Barnes, and others, trustees by deed
bearing date on the eighteenth day of April, in the year
one thousand eight hundred and twelve, and recorded
among the land records of Baltimore county, in Liber
W. G. No. one hundred and nineteen, folio fifty-one.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the persons men-
tioned in the first section of this act, or any three of them,
shall have full power and authority to sell and convey
said property by good and sufficient deed at such time,
