CHAPTER 85.

CHAP. 86.

AN ACT to Repeal the Charter of the People's
Mining Company, passed at December Session,
eighteen hundred and forty-nine, chapter three hun-
dred and sixteen.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the act passed at December session,
eighteen hundred and forty-nine, chapter three hun-
dred and sixteen, entitled, an act to incorporate the
People's. Mining Company, be, and the same is hereby
repealed.

Repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect and be in force, from and after the first day of
October, eighteen hundred and fifty-two.

CHAPTER 86.

In force.

AN ACT authorising the Justices of the Peace for
Baltimore County, to take acknowledgments of
Deeds and other Instruments, and administer
Oaths and Affirmations within the limits of the
Court House and Record office, in the City of
Baltimore.

24, 1852.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That until provision shall be made by
law for the location of a county seal within the limits

of Baltimore county proper, and the erection of a Court
House and all other appropriate buildings, for the con-
venient administration of justice, the justices of the
peace for said county may take acknowledgments of
deeds and other instruments, and administer oaths and
affirmations within the limits of the court house and
record office, in the city of Baltimore, which acts and
doings of the said justices shall be entitled as of Balti-
more county, and shall have the same effect, as if done
and performed within the limits of Baltimore county
proper.

effect from its passage.
