CHAPTER 79.

22, 1852.

AN ACT to lay out and establish a new Election
District in Worcester county, to be called Saint
Martin's or Number Ten District,

Division of
district.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the District called and known
as Berlin, or third election district of Worcester county,
is hereby divided, to wit: Commencing at the Surf
Bank, where the line of this State and Delaware strikes
the said surf bank, thence by and with said surf a
south course, until the mouth of the Saint Martin's
river bears north-west, thence a straight line to the said
Saint Martin's river, and thence running up the middle

of said Saint Martin's river to Shingle Landing, thence
to the foot of Crooxy Hill road, thence by and with
raid road to the Pocomoke river, thence by and with
said river to the line of Delaware, thence with said
line to the first beginning.

District laid

off, called
number ten.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the district, as laid

off by this act, shall be called Number Ten or Saint
Martin's Election District of said county, and shall
constitute a separate and additional district for holding
elections in Worcester county.

Place of hold-
ing elections.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the place for hold-
ing the elections for said district, be at Harper's store in-
said district.

CHAPTER 80.

23, 1852.

AN ACT to Provide for Repairing the Treasury
Building, and for rendering the same, and the
vault therein, fire proof.

Sum appro-
priated.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly

of Maryland, That for repairing the Treasury build-
ing and rendering the same, with the vault therein, fire
proof, the sum of eight hundred and four dollars, or
so much thereof as may be necessary, be, and the same
is hereby appropriated out of any money in the Trea-
sury not otherwise appropriated, to be expended under
the direction of the Treasurer of this State.

In force.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of the passage thereof.
