98. An act authorising and empowering the commissioners of
Talbot county, to levy a sum of money for building a bridge over
Knapp's Narrows in said county.

99. An act to alter and amend the charter of the New York
and Maryland Steam Ship company, incorporated by an act enti-
tled, an act to incorporate the New York and Maryland Steam
Ship company, passed at December session, 1849, chapter 278,
and to authorise said company to divide their capital stock into
shares of one hundred dollars each, nominal value, instead of one
thousand dollars, as now required by said act.

100. An act to establish a new election district in Frederick
county out of parts of the eighth, ninth and eleventh election dis-
tricts in said county.

101. An act to lay off and locale a new election district in Car-
roll county.

102. An act to refund a sum of money to James H. Watkins,

of N., assignee of Edward Dorsey, of R., paid by said Dorsey
into the Treasury on account of the direct taxes, over and above
the amount with which he was property chargeable as collector of
said taxes in Anne Arundel county, and to appropriate a sum of
money therefor.

103. An act increasing the per diem of the bailiff of the Or-
phans' court of Baltimore city.

104. An act relating to the fees of Clerks and Registers of
Wills of the several counties of this State and of the city of Bal-
timore, whose terms have recently expired by constitutional limi-
tation.

105. An act for the relief of Thomas P. Chiffelle and Alexander
J. Bouldin, of the city of Baltimore.

106. An act amendatory of the act of December session, 1837,
chapter 97, entitled, an act to authorise the appointment of com-
missioners to lake acknowledgments of deeds and instruments of
writing, under seal, out of the State of Maryland.

107. An act to change the division line between the third and
ninth election districts of Baltimore county.

108. An act to make public a certain road in the third election
district of Prince George's county.

109. An act entitled, an act to authorise the chancellor to con-
firm the sale made by Wm. S. Waters, trustee to sell the real estate
of Charles Ford and wife, deceased, to Isaac Sterling.

110. An act emitted, an act to elect a Treasurer of Howard
county by the people, and for the more prompt and economical
collection of the State and County taxes in said county.

111. An act to give common law jurisdiction to the judges of
the several Circuit courts out of court, and to confirm such acts as
have been performed by them, before the passage of this act.

112. An act to make valid the acknowledgment of a deed from
Nathan H. Haller to Paul Hammond.

113. An act for carrying into execution the powers vested by the
Constitution in the Commissioner of Lotteries.
