for Baltimore county to take acknowledgments of deeds and other
instruments, and administer oaths and affirmations, within the
limits of the court house and record office in the city of Baltimore.

88. An act entitled, an act for the division of primary school
district, number twenty-eight, of Howard county, into two separate

lation of the State's wharves in the city of Baltimore, and for other
purposes, and to exclude the owners of the steamer Osiris from
the privilege of the pier from the State's wharf, on Pratt street,
Baltimore.
92. An act to refund to Thomas B. Billingsley, sheriff of Calvert
county, a fine imposed on John A. Cox, by the judges of Culvert
County court, which was paid by said Billingsley, and afterwards
remitted by the Executive.
93. An act to alter and amend the charter of the Cumberland
Coal and Iron company, incorporated by on act entitled, an act
to incorporate the Cumberland Coal and Iron company, passed at
December session, eighteen hundred and forty, chapter two hun-
dred and fourteen.
94. An act to discharge and release Nathaniel Duke from the
payment of a certain tax therein mentioned.
95. An act to regulate the time of holding the Circuit courts
in the second judicial district.
96. An act to authorise the commissioners of the tax of Prince
George's county, to sell the Tobacco Inspection Warehouse, in the
village of Bladensburg, in said county.
97. An act to repeal an act entitled, a supplement to an act
entitled, an act to rebuild or repair the old jail in Allegany county,
passed at December session, eighteen hundred and forty-nine, chap-
ter five hundred and two, and to empower the county commissioners
to levy an additional sum of money to build a new jail in said
county.
