SEC. 21. And be it enacted, That any thing in any
previous act, in any wise, contrary to, or inconsistent
with the provisions of this act, be, and the same is
hereby repealed.

AN ACT to divide Baltimore county into sixteen
Election Districts.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That for the greater convenience of the voters of
Baltimore county, the county commissioners of the
said county, be, and are hereby authorised and required
on or before the first Monday of January next, to divide,
at their discretion, the said county into sixteen election
districts, that the said commissioners shall designate
and appoint the place in each of said election districts,
at which all elections in said county shall hereafter be

held, and that the said commissioners shall make a re-
turn of their proceedings to the Circuit court of the
said county, to be there recorded at the expense of the
said county.

AN ACT In provide for the Incorporation and Re-
gulation of Telegraph Companies in this State.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That any seven or more white persons,
citizens of the United States, and a majority of them
citizens of this State, may associate for the purpose of
owning or constructing a line or lines of wires of tele-
graph through this State, or from or to any point within
this State, upon such terms and conditions, and subject
to the liabilities prescribed in this act.
