shall seem right and proper, filing his reasons therefor
in writing.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That any party feeling
aggrieved by any final decision of the Commissioner

the Land office, in his action or proceedings under
this law, upon stating, in writing, the ground of his
grievance, detailing fully the particulars thereof, and
filing the same, in writing, in the Land office, within
thirty days after such decision, may within nine months
from the date of the decision of said commissioner, ap-
peal therefrom to the Court of Appeals, and thereupon
it shall be the duty of the said commissioner to send up
a transcript of the record within two months after such
appeal shall be taken or ordered; the party appealing to
give bond to the State of Maryland, in the usual form

of appeal bonds, in the penalty of one thousand dollars,
conditioned to indemnify the party or parties interested
in said land, from all loss or injury consequent, upon
the appeal, which Court of Appeals shall hear and dis-
pose of the said appeal at the first term, if practicable.

CHAP. 362.

Right of ap-
peal.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That any act or acts of
Assembly, inconsistent with the powers herein vested in
the Commissioner of the Land office, shall be, and
the same are hereby repealed.

Sec. 4. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from and after its passage.

CHAPTER 362.

In force.

AN ACT to authorise the Commissioners of Anne
Arundel and Prince George's counties, to levy a
sum of money, to repair or re-build the Bridge,
known as Governor's Bridge, over the Patuxent
river.

31, 1852.

WHEREAS, It has been represented to this General
Assembly by petition, that it would tend greatly to the
convenience and accommodation of the inhabitants of
Prince George's and Anne Arundel counties, and to the
public generally, if the bridge over the Patuxent river,
called and known by the name of Governor's Bridge,
was rebuilt; Therefore,

Preamble.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly

of Maryland, That the county commissioners of Anne
