SEC. 4. And be it enacted. That this act shall take
effect from its passage.

CHAPTER 358.

31, 1852.

AN ACT to change the place of holding the Elec-
tion in the first Election District of Prince
George's county.

Elections to
be held at
Beltsville.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly

of Maryland, That all elections hereafter to he held
in the first election district of Prince George's county,
shall be held in the village of Beltsville, in said dis-
trict, at such place as the judges of election for said
district shall appoint.

Inconsitent
acts repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That all acts, or parts of
acts, contrary to the provisions of this act, be, and the
same are hereby repealed.

CHAPTER 354.

31, 1852.

Fifty cents
allowed.

AN ACT to encourage the Destruction of Foxes in
Frederick county.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly

of Maryland, That from and after the passage of this
act, every person who is an actual resident of Frede-
rick county, shall be entitled to an allowance from said
county, not to exceed fifty cents for every fox destroyed
or killed by him or her.

Head and tail
to be produc-
ed.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That it shall be neces-
sary for the person so killing or destroying any fox or
foxes, to produce the head and tail of the same before
some justice of the peace, in and for said County, to
make oath or affirmation, that the said fox or foxes was
taken, wounded, or killed within the limits of the
county aforesaid, within six days next preceding the
production of such head or heads, tail or tails, before
the said justice, and the said justice shall thereupon
give to the person producing it, a certificate, wherein
he shall set forth the above mentioned oath or affirma-
tion, and shall at the same time cut off the ears and
