1852.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That from and after the
passage of this act, the following shall be the division
line between election district number two, and the new
district to be carried thereout, beginning at the mouth

of Harris' creek and running with said creek to the
head thereof, thence with the division line between the
lands of James Dawson and William W. Lowe, thence
with said line until it intersects the division line be-
tween the lands of William Hambleton and said Lowe,
thence with said line, until it reaches the head of a
cove or creek, called Emerson's creek, and with said
creek until it reaches Miles' river, and thence with the
river and bay, including Tilghman's, Poplar and Sharps'
Islands, to the mouth of said Harris' creek; all the
the territory lying within the said limits, shall be known
as district number five.

CHAP. 259.

Division line.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That all that portion
hereby laid off from the said second election district,
shall constitute the fifth election district, and the
polls shall be held at such place as the county com-
missioners shall determine.; and it is hereby made the
duty of the said commissioners of Talbot county, to
publish this act, at the expense of the county, at least
three weeks previous to the next election for President
and Vice President of the United States, in the two
newspapers printed and published in said county.

CHAPTER 259.

AN ACT to construct a Bridge across Drummond's

Branch, in the Seventh Election District in Wor-
cester county.

Passed May
25, 1852.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the county commissioners of Worcester
county, be, and they are hereby authorised, if in their
judgment the public expediency require it, to construct
a public bridge across Drummond's branch, in the
second election district, in Worcester county, on the
public road between Salisbury and Nassaongo Fur-
nace, and to levy on the assessable property of said
county a sum sufficient to pay for the construction. of
said bridge.
