CHAPTER 252.

In force.

AN ACT to pay to William Thompson, late Sheriff

of Montgomery county, an amount due him for fees,
by the State of Maryland.

26, 1852.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly

of Maryland, That the Treasurer, be, and he is here-

by authorised to pay, on the warrant of the Comptrol-
ler, to William Thompson, late sheriff of Montgomery
county, sixteen dollars and ninety three cents, an amount
due him for fees, by the State of Maryland.

pay.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from its passage.

CHAPTER 253.

In force.

AN ACT authorising the payment to James Fields,

of a sum of money due him as Interest by the
State.

Passed May
26, 1852.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly

of Maryland, That the Treasures, upon the warrant

of the Comptroller, be, and he is hereby directed to
pay to James Fields, of Baltimore city, the sum of six
dollars and sixty seven cents, that being the amount
due him, as appears by the books in the office of the
Commissioner of Loans, on certificate of State inter-
est, number three thousand five hundred and seventy-
six, issued on the tenth of May, eighteen hundred and
forty-three, which said certificate has been lost.

Authority to
pay.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall be in
force from the date of its passage.
