CHAP. 251.
|
reconveyance, from Elijah Reynolds, Edward D. Tar-
ring, Alexander Brown, Joseph W. Abrahams and Ed-
win Wilmer to the said Rebecca E. Creswell, shall be
as valid and effectual to reconvey the said water lot, as
if the said Daniel Magredy and Anthony Smith had
survived, and had been grantors in the said deed named,
and that the title of the said Rebecca E. Cresswell, in
and to the said water lot, under and by virtue of said
deed of reconveyance, shall be as good and perfect as
the same was previous to the execution of the first
named deed.

effect from and after the date of its passage.

AN ACT to exempt the members of the City Coun-
cil of Baltimore from the performance of Militia
and Military duty, during their Sessions.
|
|
|
|
Exempted.
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the members of the first and second branch-
es of the city council of Baltimore, be, and they are
hereby declared to be exempt from the performance of
militia and jury duty, during their sessions.

AN ACT to provide for the removal of certain Cases
from the Superior Court of Baltimore city to the
Court of Common Pleas.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That on the motion of the plaintiff to
any action now depending, or which may hereafter be
instituted in the Superior Court of Baltimore city,
wherein the debt or damages claimed shall be over one
hundred dollars, and shall not exceed five hundred
dollars, it shall and may be lawful for said court, to or-
der and direct the papers and proceedings in said action
to be removed into the Court of Common Pleas of the
