An ACT to authorise the County Commissioners
of Prince George's county, to appoint a proper
person to superintend the Removal of the School
House in Primary School District, number five, in
the Second Election District of said county.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the county commissioners of Prince
George's county, be, and are hereby authorised and
directed to appoint a proper person to superintend the
removal of the school house in primary school district
number five, in the second election district of said
|

county, to a more eligible situation; Provided, such
removal is deemed necessary and proper by the person
so appointed by said county commissioners.

Proviso.
|
|
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the county com-
missioners of said county, be, and are hereby required
at the first levy laying term of said commissioners, after
the removal of said school house, to levy upon the as-
sessable property of said county, a sum sufficient to
defray the expenses of said removal.
|

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from and after the date of its passage.

AN ACT to declare the assent of the Legislature of
Maryland, to the bequest of Catharine Chambers,
late of Queen Anne's county, to the Methodist
Episcopal Church, called Salem, and also the Me-
thodist Episcopal Church, in Spaniard's Neck,
and to appoint Trustees for said Churches.

WHEREAS, a certain Catharine Chambers, late of
Queen Anne's county, deceased, died seized and pos-
sessed of certain real estate, by descent, and possessed
personal estate without any known relations, however
remote; and by her last will and testament, in writing,
bearing date on the sixteenth day of October, eighteen
hundred and thirty-eight, duly executed and admitted
to probate on the twenty-fourth day of June, eighteen
