1852.

which the elections shall be held, having due regard
to the accommodation of voters attendant upon such
elections, and the said commissioners shall, on or before
the third Monday in September, eighteen hundred and
and fifty-two, deliver to the clerk of the circuit court of
Washington county, a description in writing, under
their hands and seals, specifying the boundaries and
number of the election district so laid off by them, and
also, the place where the election for such district shall
be held, and the said clerk shall record the same in the
records of said county.

CHAP. 224.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the sheriff of
Washington county, shall give notice of the place of
holding the election in such election district, so laid off
anew, by causing the same to be inserted in one or
more newspapers printed in Washington county, once
a week for at least one month previous to holding the
election in November, eighteen hundred and fifty-two.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That the inhabitants of
said districts shall, in all respects, he entitled to all the
rights, liberties and privileges held, or to be held, and
enjoyed by the other election districts in said county.

CHAPTER 224.

Rights of in-
habitants.

AN ACT to purchase copies of the Maryland Chan-
cery Reports, for the use of the Courts of each
county, and for the benefit of the State Library.

21, 1852.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly

of Maryland, That the State Librarian is hereby
authorised to purchase one hundred and ninety copies

of the first and second volumes of the Maryland Chan-
cery Decisions, published by John W. Woods and
James Wingate, to be distributed by said Librarian as
the Reports of the Court of Appeals are distributed.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That said volumes of
Maryland Chancery Decisions shall not contain less
than six hundred pages, and that the price to the State

of said volumes shall be reduced to five dollars per
volume.
