CHAP. 128

CHAPTER 127.

Passed May
2, 1852.

AN ACT to refund to Richard C. Hollyday, late
clerk of Cecil County Court, an overpayment made
by him into the Treasury.

Treasurer di-
rected to pay.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Treasurer of the State, be, and
he is hereby authorised and directed to pay to Richard
C. Hollyday, late clerk of Cecil County Court, or to
his order, out of any monies in the treasury, not other-
wise appropriated, the sum of eight dollars and seventy-
one cents, the same being due to the said Richard 0.
Hollyday, on account of an overpayment made by him
into the treasury, as appears by the books of the Trea-
surer of this State.

In force.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect and be in force from and after the date of its
passage.

CHAPTER 128.

10, 1852.

AN ACT entitled, an Act to authorise the County
Commissioners for Frederick county to purchase an
Index to Land Records for said county.

dex.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the county commissioners for
Frederick county, be, and they are hereby authorised
to purchase from Abner Campbell, an index to the land
records of Frederick county, prepared by him, begin-
ning the fourth of November, eighteen hundred and
thirty-five, and ending fifth of February, eighteen
hundred and forty-five, and to allow such compensation
therefor as the said commissioners in their discretion shall
think proper.

In force.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall be in
force from and after its passage.
